A striking stainless steel sculpture

Mounted on a luxury black granite base, this polished stainless steel sculpture by Dan Lane symbolises the delicate balance that can exist between mankind and nature, if we only have the patience.

Dan says:  “I wanted to create a sculpture that showed that mankind and the natural world can live in balance and harmony as equals. Nature has never taken from us, yet we have exploited nature’s generosity."

This poignant sculpture that resembles the arms of some of the most classical works of art from Renaissance and Baroque masters also features Dan's ever-popular hummingbirds. Expertly portrayed hovering above the fingertips of the sculpture, the ethereal hummingbird also appears to perch on the cherry blossom tattoo that grows up the arm like a branch.
